Trouble-Shooting Tips
- Problem: If you are having trouble downloading or installing software
- Solution: Please contact your school’s/company’s IT department. Many IT systems utilize firewalls, anti-virus software, or contain administrative right systems that are unique to situation which prevents downloading and/or installation of the software.
- Problem: I am using the trial software and I have not yet purchase LockerManager. How do I register the software?
- Solution: You do not need to register LockerManager. Only register LockerManager after you have purchased the software. Your trial gives you 30 days to trial the product. After 30 days, the program stops working. At that point, you will need to purchase and register the product.
- Problem: It looks like the part of the LockerManager screen is missing, or screen tells me to click "Save File and Continue", but there is no button to do this.
- Solution: Your screen resolution is not set correctly. LockerManager requires the screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768. Please adjust your resolution. Your IT department can help you do this.
- Also, you may have an old version of LockerManager. Click here for a free update to the latest version
- Problem: I am getting an error code 3014, or error code 13 or error code 424.
- Problem: If your software is not performing correctly for any reason
- Problem: I have my students on an electronic file. How do I load them into LockerManager?
- Solution: You will need to format your file as "text" and save as a .CSV (comma delimited) file. See pages 88 and 90 -- Click here to see the User Guide (Large .pdf - 96 pages). Also, your IT department can easily convert your files.
- Problem: I have installed LockerManager, but I am unsure how to use the software.
